To understand how the circuit works, let’s look at a simple example. Imagine a circuit with two inputs - A and B - and two outputs - C and D. When the input A is activated, the flip-flop will change state and output C will go high. At the same time, the counter will increase its current count by one. When input B is activated, the flip-flop will again change state and output D will go high, and the counter will increase its current count by one. This process will continue until the maximum count of 99 is reached, at which point the counter will reset to zero and the cycle will begin again.
